Snowmobiling rocks!!!!

Steve and I had the chance to go snowmobiling for a few days in the middle of February. It was the perfect getaway. We got to the Beaver Creek Lodge in Logan Canyon where we were staying on Tuesday morning checked in and we were on our way. We rode until it was dark for three days strait. We had a blast. I told Steve to be nice on me and don't leave me in the dust, but to his and my surprise I was a little gutsy. We were going up some crazy hills, flying around corners and usually kept a constant speed of 55 or so. (I know, me... who knew). There was so much snow and we had sunny warm days. We got ourselves stuck of course in all sorts of funny places, but overall it couldn't have been any better. At night we made fabulous dinners, sat in our jetted tub, and watched the Olympics. Our girls stayed with grandma and grandpa Chadwick and they were all wonderful. Steve and I hope to go do something else like this again!

The things my kids love to do...

Well Peyton is taking on a new role of wearing everyone else's things. She loves to wear Steve's motorcycle gear, Destinee's clothes, my shoes and of course princess dresses. She loves to sing primary songs (which is so so cute). There is nothing better than to see your 2-year-old tell you shapes, sing the alphabet, play and sing primary songs. Destinee is growing and growing. She has become a wonderful mini mom. She always wants to hold Oakley any chance she gets. She is always trying to get her to do things she is not quite ready for, but nonetheless she helps a ton. Destinee and I have been doing a large amount of reading and school work together and she is quite the reader. I am impressed to see how well she can read a book. I'm a proud mom! She loves her new primary teachers and has a true love for the gospel already. There is no doubt that she will be ready to be baptized when she is 8. She talks all the time of growing up and getting married in the temple with a wonderful man just like her daddy. awww... I just keep telling her to keep that goal in sight!

No longer bored...

Well if I was bored in any way, I no longer am. I recently started doing a Medical Transcription course online and my hands are full. I am trying to put in anywhere from 6 to 8 hours a day of study time. Now I did work a full time job but for some reason this seems much harder with my three little ones. With Steve's schedules changing and having to do more for him has made it a bit tougher. I am thrilled though to have my brain up and running again (at least I think so)... I have great kids who can help and play well!! My congrats goes out to my sister-in-law who found out that she is having a baby girl. After having two boys I think any woman would love to have a little girl. So Kira I couldn't be happier for you! I also have excepted a call back into the primary as a teacher. I knew it was only a matter of time before I had heard, "Will you meet me after church Mrs. Chadwick?" It will be hard at times not having Steve there with me but I am thrilled to be back into serving in the church. I really enjoy our ward. They seem to be wonderful people, among the rest of the crazies out here.
